Project Details
- Construction of 750m armoured seawall comprising 11,300T
of core and 23,100T of 1-3T armour rock
- Neo sourced its own rock armour and our team quarried the
rock, loaded it and transported it 30 km to site
- landscaping, drainage, reinforced concrete beach access and
stairway access
- A 2 in 1 sand batter behind the wall which had to be
protected (coconut fibre mat) and revegetated.
- Town roads had to be used as haul and return roads for
trucks carting rock for the wall, which required
implementation of an approved traffic management plan
and liaison with the residents.
